For over a decade, we’ve been taking the hassle out of vehicle road accidents, helping our customers to get back on the road as quickly as possible. We have one clear purpose – to enter customers’ lives briefly but leave a positive impact that lasts a lifetime.
It’s our job to take care of you if you’ve had an accident on the road. We use our expertise to provide a superior customer journey, minimising the negative impact a vehicle road accident can cause. We have national coverage of hand-picked insurance approved car and LCV repairers delivering industry leading vehicle key-to-key times as well as a specialist network of 58 HGV repairers.

Our company values are the cornerstone of S&G Response, and they were chosen by our people. Our values are a a way of life here. They help us solve problems, innovate, grow and thrive. In fact, they are so integral to our company moving forward that we host an annual Employee Values Awards ceremony, celebrating our team members who have lived by our values.

We try and avoid cliches at all costs, but there really is no other way to say this. We work hard, and we play hard. We’ve got a very active social calendar that’s designed to bring the team together, experience new things as a family, and have a lot of fun!
We also know how important it is to help wherever we can, and we work as a team to innovate the way we raise funds to do the utmost for our chosen charities, strengthening our team bond along the way. Last year alone, we raised £15,000, and this year we plan to do even more!

Learning & development is paramount to our team’s success and providing the best possible customer journey. We offer an extensive on-boarding process for new employees and supporting professional qualifications and external workshops to further our team’s knowledge and skillset. As a result, we have people who think a little differently, creating advocates of change as they are willing to challenge existing processes so that we can continue to improve for true customer centricity.

Wellbeing and Health: We also offer further support through apps, an online portal and via webinars for a variety of advice and contacts for a virtual GP service, mental health and wellbeing or virtual physiotherapy.
Social Events: It might sound cliché, but we work hard, and we play hard. We arrange social events for all employees to attend throughout the year to enable some relaxation time and a chance to meet up and have some fun.
Pension Scheme: We have a contributory pension scheme with a 3% contribution from S&G.
Annual Leave: Work/life balance is key, so we offer 25 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, and you’ll accrue an extra day for every year you’re with us.
5. We’re an Award Winning Company
Having successfully secured the Investors in People (IIP) Gold Award in 2014 and 2017, S&G Response also achieved the IIP Gold Standard for their third consecutive time in 2020. Alongside this milestone, the summer of 2021 also saw S&G join the Institute of Customer Service (ICS), the professional body for customer service; whose main purpose is to drive customer service performance and professionalism across the UK.
The ICS partnership underpins all that S&G want to achieve in the customer service arena and highlights their commitment to customers as they work towards their next goal of obtaining the ServiceMark.
Employee Learning & Development has been top of the agenda for some years with heavy investment in company-wide workshops and training. Recent initiatives include a rehaul of the induction process, a new e-learning platform, and the recruitment of an L&D Manager to provide further opportunities to staff. The investment in people accreditation solidifies the importance for a unified approach to customer service excellence.
