To celebrate S&G Response’s 10 Year Anniversary they are hosting a charity golf event on Thursday 29th August, where there will be an outstanding turnout of more than a hundred industry professionals coming together to raise awareness and much needed funds for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) charity.
The day will be packed full of entertainment and activities, including the usual golf competitions, some with a special twist; instead of ‘Beat the Pro’ there is ‘Beat the Paul’ as the business believes Business Development Manager, Paul Wilkinson, will provide some good competition for the players. For a game, in jest, named ‘Stoney Henge’, players will attempt to lob a ball over an 8ft cardboard cut-out of S&G Response’s Finance Director, Nick Stone, in true Phil Mickleson style.
S&G Response aim to raise over £10,000 for CAFT through competitions, the raffle and evening auction. Altrincham based charity, The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, provide a variety of free holiday programmes and day trips for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children. The Adventure Farm is a truly extraordinary place that gives children well needed respite and the opportunity to play and laugh, and simply enjoy being children. They even cater for carers and family members to holiday with them too, making their visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
S&G Response Commercial Director, Daniel Chesney, commented ‘We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the business’ 10th Anniversary than to host a golf day for our valued clients, industry friends and partners whilst simultaneously raising funds for such a wonderful, heart-warming cause. I am looking forward to hearing more from the members of CAFT on the day about the important work they do; I’m pleased our event has provided them with the opportunity to share their story with a new audience. In addition to the golf day, we have an evening packed full of food, fresh off the BBQ, drinks, a raffle and our charity auction. We’re still accepting donations to the charity auction so if you would like to show your support, don’t hesitate to get in touch – you can come grab a burger with us too. ’
If you are interesting in donating any items to the auction you can do so by emailing commercialteam@sandgresponse.co.uk
