On Monday 28th October, Modern Insurance Magazine announced their shortlist for the 2020 UK Customer Service Excellence Awards. We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for both the ‘Best New Business Initiative’ and ‘Giving it Back to Charity’ Awards; highlighting S&G Response’s market leading approach to business process and Corporate Social Responsibility.
We have been recognised for developing and utilising IT to enhance their customers’ own proposition in repair management to streamline the First Notification of Loss process for our clients. This was accomplished through the development of a bespoke API that utilises our unique repair management asset to the benefit of our clients by improving their policyholders’ customer journey through a quality repair provision that is convenient to them, whilst minimising the claims life-cycle and associated claims costs.
We have also been recognised in the ‘Giving it Back to Charity’ category on account of the successful launch of our staff sponsorship match scheme as well as our endeavours to provide all staff with equal opportunity to raise funds and awareness for charity, in addition to allowing our employees paid day leave for charitable volunteer work. Our initial 12-month target for fundraising was set at £25,000 which was later greatly exceeded, in the end raising an enormous £47,000 through various initiatives with 100% staff engagement, for more than 6 different charities.
Charity Relationship Manager at The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, Alastair Laing, said ‘S&G Response, has been one of our best supporters. The support from their 10th anniversary golf day raised an amazing £15,000 which is much more than we ever anticipated. We were blown away by the number of toys collected for the Christmas appeal, over 1,700 toys worth well of £10,000, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.’
