At S&G, we are incredibly proud of the culture we have cultivated over the years, and despite spending less time in the office and more time at home throughout the pandemic, our team remains as strong as ever. We want our guys to know how much they’re valued, and we’re constantly striving to make S&G the best company they’ve ever worked for.
With that in mind, we’ve got loads of great stuff planned for the next few months that we hope our team are going to love!
January and February are all about feeling good. It’s probably safe to say that we all indulged a little (or a lot) during December and now’s the time to get moving and start feeling great.
January
As part of our wellness initiative, we’re running a weight loss competition for anyone hoping to lose a few lbs.! The challenge will take place over the course of 8 weeks, and the biggest loser will win £100! We’re also running a healthy eating challenge for anyone looking to change up their diet and start feeling great about their meals.
Another aspect of wellness is aiming to feel as content and stress-free as possible. We want to help, and have support and information for anyone looking to save money this year. Managing finances can be super stressful and we’re here to guide and support our employees to reach their personal financial goals for 2022.
February
February 17th marks RAOK (random act of kindness) day, and we’re asking our team to let us know about what they’ll be doing! They’ll be sending us a short video about a random act of kindness they have planned so that we can share it with the whole company! Being kind makes everyone feel good, and we want that feeling to spread, so let’s all think of ways to make someone’s day that little bit better.
And on February 25th, all our employees are invited to AGM (our annual general meeting) to hear presentations from the board and chairman about our exciting year ahead! More details on this to follow.
March
March 8th is International Women’s Day, but we don’t feel like a day is enough, so we’ll be making March International Women’s Month. Watch this space for ways we’ll be celebrating our amazing women leaders!
